Permanent Makeup can get a "bad" name from some of the work that is out there. Most states do not require ANY training as permanent makeup is considered a tattoo and is only governed under the Department of Health (in Wisconsin and many other states) and only requires a fee for a license and nothing more. The profession should be under the Department of Regulation and Licensing, but at this time it is not. This is an ART form and you are either good at it or not. Check out your technician's before and after photo book BEFORE committing to getting a less than desirable result. You want your permanent makeup to make you look better, not worse........
